Mystery of love – Part I – The Blues – K. B.

                        Mystery of Love

Part I: The blues

I

O prodigeous
Season !
There was
A fire
In my belly.

There
Was
A tender
Cheek
On which
I could
Lay
A kiss.

There
Was a body
I could
Marry
With
My hands
Curved
On the thighs.

There
Was a time
When
A little
Look
Was enough
To stir
Mountains
Of light
And gold.

Mystery of
Love,

O prodigeous season !

There was
A season
When
Invisible,
Every
Sin
Had the
Taste
Of cherry
And the
Body
Was exultant

And the hot
Lips
Were kissing

And somehow,
The lovely
Eye brow
Would
Look
At me
With curiosity.

I would
Exist
In those
Eyes,

Finally
Revealed.

It was
A nest
Of warmth
And kindness,

I would
Come back
Clothed
With
Mystery
And passion;

She would be
There,

Supreme
And serene;

No arguments,
Only passion,
Selfish.

O mystery
Of love,

O prodigeous
Season !

I used
To have
No abode
But you !

Word were
Glittering
Only for you !

Thunder
And heavy
Rains
Would
Be spent
In your
Arms,

Between
Your legs,

Till’ the end
Of the night

In a quietly
Candle-lit
Room.

The morning
Would
Bring
Some light
While
Ecstasy
Receded,

Vitalized
By our
Last
Goodbyes,

O cruel path
Back to
My home,

O eternal
Banner
Ripped
Apart
By the walk !

O necessary
Distance
To keep
My sanity !

It was a
Strong
Love,

A harmony
Unparalleled
Before,

A gaze
Heavy

Like
A full
Ripened
Fruit

Dripping
With
Sugary
Juice

Attached
To a homeless
Tree of all
Fantasies,

Of all
Ideas,

A root
From a
Lonely
Plant ! ,

Bright
And cool
On which
We could
Lay hands
In the desert
City.
